简介:ItisgenerallyacknowledgedthatmobilecommunicationbasestationsarecomposedofhardwarecomponentssuchasFieldProgrammingGateArray(FPGA),DigitalSignalProcessor(DSP),whichpromisereliableandfluentservicesforthemobileusers.However,withtheincreasingdemandforenergy-efficiency,approachesoflowpower-consumptionandhigh-flexibilityareneededurgently.Inthiscircumstance,GeneralPurposeProcessor(GPP)attractspeople'sattentionforitslow-costandflexibility.BenefitedfromthedevelopmentofmodernGPPinmulti-core,SingleInstructionMultipleData(SIMD)instructions,largercache,etc.,GPPsarecapableofperforminghigh-densitydigitalprocessing.Inthispaper,wecompareseveralsoftware-definedradio(SDR)prototypesandproposethegeneralarchitectureofGPP-basedsoftbasestations.Then,theschematicdesignofresourceallocationandalgorithmoptimizationinsoftbasestationimplementationarestudied.Asanapplicationexample,aprototypeofGPP-basedsoftbasestationreferringtothe3rdGenerationPartnershipProject(3GPP)LongTermEvolution(LTE)isrealizedandevaluated.Tothebestofourknowledge,itisthefirstSoft-LTEprototypeeverreported.Intheend,weevaluatethetimingperformanceoftheLTEsoftbasestationandapacketlossratiooflessthan0.003isobtained.

简介:Inthisstudy,weaimedtoexploretheroleofursolicacidintheneuralregenerationoftheinjuredsciaticnerve.BALB/cmicewereusedtoestablishmodelsofsciaticnerveinjurythroughunilateralsciaticnervecompletetransectionandmicroscopicanastomosisat0.5cmbelowtheischialtuberosity.Thesuccessfullygeneratedmodelmiceweretreatedwith10,5,or2.5mg/kgursolicacidviaintraperitonealinjection.Enzyme-linkedimmunosorbentassayresultsshowedthatserumS100proteinexpressionlevelgraduallyincreasedat1-4weeksaftersciaticnerveinjury,andsignificantlydecreasedat8weeks.Assuch,ursolicacidhasthecapacitytosignificantlyincreaseS100proteinexpressionlevels.Real-timequantitativePCRshowedthatS100mRNAexpressionintheL4-6segmentsontheinjurysidewasincreasedafterursolicacidtreatment.Inaddition,themuscularmassindexinthesoleusmusclewasalsoincreasedinmicetreatedwithursolicacid.Toluidinebluestainingrevealedthatthequantityandaveragediameterofmyelinatednervefibersintheinjuredsciaticnerveweresignificantlyincreasedaftertreatmentwithursolicacid.10and5mg/kgofursolicacidproducedstrongereffectsthan2.5mg/kgofursolicacid.Ourfindingsindicatethatursolicacidcandose-dependentlyincreaseS100expressionandpromoteneuralregenerationinBALB/cmicefollowingsciaticnerveinjury.
简介:Todeterminethevalueofdissectingtherecurrentlaryngealnerveduringthyroidsurgerywithrespecttopreventingrecurrentlaryngealnerveinjury,weretrospectivelyanalyzedclinicaldatafrom5344patientsundergoingthyroidectomy.Amongthesecases,548underwentdissectionoftherecurrentlaryngealnerve,while4796didnot.Therewere12casesofrecurrentlaryngealnerveinjuryfollowingrecurrentlaryngealnervedissection(injuryrateof2.2%)and512casesofrecurrentlaryngealnerveinjuryinthosenotundergoingnervedissection(injuryrateof10.7%).Thisdifferenceremainedstatisticallysignificantbetweenthetwogroupsintermsoftypeofthyroiddisease,typeofsurgery,andnumberofsurgeries.Amongthe548casesundergoingrecurrentlaryngealnervedissection,128developedanatomicalvariationsoftherecurrentlaryngealnerve(incidencerateof23.4%),butnorecurrentlaryngealnerveinjurywasfound.Inaddition,theincidenceofrecurrentlaryngealnerveinjurywassignificantlylowerinpatientswiththeinferiorparathyroidglandandmiddlethyroidveinsusedaslandmarksforlocatingtherecurrentlaryngealnervecomparedwiththosewiththeentryoftherecurrentlaryngealnerveintothelarynxasalandmark.Thesefindingsindicatethatanatomicalvariationsoftherecurrentlaryngealnervearecommon,andthatdissectingtherecurrentlaryngealnerveduringthyroidsurgeryisaneffectivemeansofpreventingnerveinjury.
简介:Forty-threepatientswithchronicspinalcordinjuryforover6monthsweretransplantedwithembryonicolfactoryensheathingcells,2–4×106,intomultiplesitesintheinjuredareaunderthesurgicalmicroscope.Thesympatheticskinresponseinpatientswasmeasuredwithanelectromyography/evokedpotentialinstrument1daybeforetransplantationand3–8weeksaftertransplantation.SpinalnervefunctionofpatientswasassessedusingtheAmericanSpinalInjuryAssociationimpairmentscale.Thesympatheticskinresponsewaselicitedin32casesbeforeolfactoryensheathingcelltransplantation,whileitwasobservedin34casesaftertransplantation.Concomitantly,sympatheticskinresponselatencydecreasedsignificantlyandamplitudeincreasedsignificantlyaftertransplantation.TransplantationofolfactoryensheathingcellsalsoimprovedAmericanSpinalInjuryAssociationscoresformovement,painandlighttouch.Ourfindingsindicatethatolfactoryensheathingcelltransplantationimprovesmotor,sensoryandautonomicnervefunctionsinpatientswithchronicspinalcordinjury.
简介:Hepatocellularcarcinoma(HCC)isoneofthemostdeadlyhumancancers,butitisverydifficulttoestablishananimalmodelbyusingsurgicalspecimens.Inthepresentexperiment,histologicallyintactfreshsurgicalspecimensofHCCweresubcutaneouslytransplantedinnon-obesediabetic/severecombinedimmunodeficienccy(NOD/SCID)mice.Thebiologicalcharacteristicsoftheoriginalandthecorrespondingtransplantedtumorsandcelllineswereinvestigated.Theresultsshowedthat5newanimalmodelsand2primarycelllinesweresuccessfullyestablishedfromsurgicalspecimens.Hematoxylin-eosinstainingshowedthatxenograftsretainedmajorhistologicalfeaturesoftheoriginalsurgicalspecimens.Thetwonewcelllineshadbeencultivatedfor3yearsandsuccessivelypassagedformorethan100passagesinvitro.Themorphologicalcharacteristicsandbiologicfeaturesofthetwocelllinesweregeneticallysimilartotheoriginaltumor.Thesubcutaneoustransplantanimalmodelswithhistologicallyintacttumortissueandprimarycelllinescouldbeusefulforinvivoandinvitrotestingofanti-cancerdrugsandbeidealmodelstostudyvariousbiologicfeaturesofHCC.
