  • 简介:Nineshorttandemrepeat(STR)markers(D3S1358,VWA,FGA,THO1,TPOX,CSFIPO,D5S818,D13S317,andD7S820)andasex-identificationmarker(Amel-ogeninlocus)wereamplifiedwithmultiplexPCRandweregenotypedwithafour-colorfluorescencemethodinsamplesfrom174unrelatedHanindividualsinNorthChina.Theallelefrequencies,genotypefrequencies,heterozygosity,prob-abilityofdiscriminationpowers,probabilityofpaternityexclusionandHardy-Weinbergequilibriumexpectationsweredetermined.TheresultsdemonstratedthatthegenotypesatalltheseSTRlociinHanpopulationconformtoHardy-Weinbergequilibriumexpectations.Thecombineddiscriminationpower(DP)was1.05×10-10withinnineSTRlocianalyzedandtheprobabilityofpaternityexclusion(EPP)was0.9998.TheresultsindicatethatthesenineSTRlociandtheAmelo-geninlocusareusefulmarkersforhumanidentification,paternityandmaternitytestingandsexdeterminationinforensicsciences.

  • 简介:Allelefrequenciesfor15shorttandemrepeat(STR)loci(D8S1179,D21S11,D7S820,CSF1PO,D3S1358,TH01,D13S317,D16S539,D2S1338,D19S433,vWA,TPOX,D18S51,D5S818,andFGA)wereobtainedfrom7,636unrelatedindivid-ualsofChineseHanpopulationlivinginQinghaiandChongqing,China.Totally206alleleswereobserved,withthecorrespondingallelefrequenciesrangingfrom0.0001–0.4982.Chi-squaretestshowedthatalloftheSTRlociagreedwiththeHardy-Weinbergequilibrium.Wealsocomparedourdatawithpreviouslypub-lishedpopulationdataofotherethnicsorareas.TheresultsarevaluableforhumanidentificationandpaternitytestinginChineseHanpopulation.

  • 简介:TheexperimentwasperformedtoevaluatetheprogeniesofplantlinestransgenicforauxinsynthesisgenesderivedfromRiT-DNA.Fourlinesofthetransgenicplantswereself-crossedandtheforeignauxingenesinplantsofT5generationwereconfirmedbySouthernhybridization.Twolines,D1232andD1653,showedearlierfoldingofexpandingleavesthanuntransformedlineandthereforehadearlyinitiationofleafyhead.LeafcuttingsderivedfromplantoftransgeniclineD1653producedmoreadventitiousrootsthanthecontrolwhereasthecuttingsfromfoldingleaveshadmuchmorerootsthanrosetteleavesatfoldingstage,andthecuttingsfromheadleaveshadmorerootsthanrosetteleavesatheadingstage.Itisdemonstratedthatearlyfoldingoftransgenicleafmaybecausedbytherelativelyhigherconcentrationofauxin.Theseplantlineswithauxintransgenescanbeusedforthestudyofhormonalregulationindifferentiationanddevelopmentofplantorgensandforthebreedingofnewvarietywithrapidgrowthtrait.

  • 简介:AsapartofabasicresearchprojectonXeno-transplantion,wehavebeenengagedinthederivationofembryonicstemcelllinesfromChineseminiswine.Here,wereportedforthefirsttimetheestablishmentoftwoporcineEGcelllines(BPEG1andBPEG2)fromprimordialgermcellsofgenitalridgesofa28anda27dembryosrespectively.Theirpluripotentnaturehasbeenidentifiedbycolonymorphology,markercharacterizationaswellasbyinvitroandinvivodifferentiation.TheseporcineEGcellsarepotentiallyusefulforfurtherbasicstudies.
