摘要 AnobviousmotivationofthispaperistoexaminetheeffectivenessofthelateralvibrationcontrolofajackettypeoffshoreplatformwithanAMDcontroldevice,inconjunctionwithH2controlalgorithm,whichisanoptimalfrequen.cydomaincontrolmethodbasedonminimizationofH2normofthesystemtransferfunction.Inthisstudy,theoffshoreplatformismodelednumericallybyuseofthefiniteelementmethod,insteadofalumpedmassmodel.Thisstructuralmodelislatersimplifiedtobesingle-degree-of-freedom(SDOF)systembyextractingthefirstvibrationmodeofthestruc.ture.Thecorresponding″generalized″waveforceisdeterminedbasedonananalyticalapproximationofthefirstmodeshapefunction,thephysicalwaveloadingbeingcalculatedfromthelinearizedMorisonequation.Thisapproachfacilitatesthefilterdesignforthegeneralizedforce.Furthermore,thepresentpaperalsointendstomakenumericalcompari.sonbetweenH2activecontrolandthecorrespondingpassivecontrolusingaTMDwiththesamedeviceparameters.
