简介:Severalbacterialstrainswereisolatedfromdifferentrhizospheres.Amongthese,strainPDY7exhibitedstrongantibacterialactivityagainstthericebacterialblight(BB)pathogenXanthomonasoryzaepv.oryzae(Xoo)bythelaboratorydualplateassays.TheantibacterialpropertyofthestrainPDY7wasfurtherinvestigatedfortheproductionof2,4-diacetylphloroglucinol(DAPG),whichamplifiedacharacteristicof629-bpDNAfragmentbyPCR-basedscreeningmethodusingphlDprimers.TheapplicationofphlDpositivestrainswascarefullyevaluatedfordiseasecontrolandgrowthpromotionofriceplantsunderfieldconditions.TheselectedstrainPDY7suppressedthericeBBby58.83%and51.88%underglasshouseandfieldconditions,respectively.Inaddition,thestrainPDY7showedsignificanttwo-foldincreaseinrootlength(18.08cm),shootlength(29.81cm),andgrainyield(96.07g).StrainPDY7promotedthegrowthofriceplantsbyproductionofindole-3-aceticacid(IAA),whichwasdeterminedbyhighperformanceliquidchromatography(HPLC)analysis.OurfindingssuggestthatPDY7belongstotheP.fluorescensgroupandcanserveaspotentialbiocontrolofBBaswellasbiofertilizeragentforgrowthpromotionofrice.
简介:Thisstudydemonstratesanovelapproachforrapidsynthesisofsilver(Ag)nanowiresinducedbyvanadiumtrioxide(V2O3)particlesinaqueoussolutionatroomtemperature.Silvernanowireshaveanaveragediameterof20nmandlengthuptoafewmicrometersbyparametricoptimization.ThemicrostructureofthesilvernanowireswascharacterizedbyTEM,HRTEM,SEM,andXRDtechniques.Theopticalpropertyoftheas-preparedproductwasmeasuredbyultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)spectroscopy.ThepossiblegrowthmechanismofAgnanowiresviaorientedattachmentofAgnanocrystalswasdiscussed.Thepresentapproachshowsseveraluniquefeaturessuchasrapid(afewminutes),reproducibleandhigh-yieldreactionwithnoneedofanymodifiers.V2O3rodswerereportedforthefirsttimetobeusedforsynthesisofsilvernanowires,playingmultiplerolesasreducingagent,template,andcatalyst.Thesilvernanowiresproducedarepromisingforopticalapplications(e.g.,SERS)duetotheirroughsurface.
简介:Objective:Totesttheeffectsofsalidrosideonformationandgrowthofgliomatogetherwithtumormicroenvironment.Methods:SalidrosideextractedfromRhodiolaroseawaspurifiedandtreatedonhumangliomacellsU251attheconcentrationof20μg/mL.3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-dephenyltetrazoliumbromide(MTT)assayforcytotoxicityandflowcytometry(FCM)forcellcycleanalysiswereperformed.Thenforinvivostudy,xenotransplantationtumormodelinnudemicewasgeneratedandtreatedwithsalidrosideattheconcentrationof50mg/kg.dfortotally20d.Bodyweightandtumorsizeweredetectedevery2dafterthetreatment.Thelevelsof8-isoprostane,superoxidedismutase(SOD)andmalondialdehyde(MDA),specialmarkersforoxidativestress,weredetectedwhileimmunofluoresencestainingwasperformedforastrocytedetection.Results:Forinvitrostudy,salidrosidecoulddecreasetheviabilityofhumangliomacellsU251andthegrowthofU251cellsatG0/G1checkpointduringthecellcycle.Forinvivostudy,salidrosidecouldalsoinhibitthegrowthofhumangliomatissueinnudemice.Thebodyweightofthesenudemicetreatedwithsalidrosidedidnotdecreaseasquicklyascontrolgroup.Inthetumorxenotransplantationnudemicemodel,micewerefoundofinhibitionofoxidativestressbydetectionofbiomarkers.Furthermore,overgrowthofastrocytesduetothestimulationofoxidativestressinthecortexofbrainwasinhibitedafterthetreatmentofsalidroside.Conclusions:Salidrosidecouldinhibittheformationandgrowthofgliomabothinvivoandinvitroandimprovethetumormicroenvironmentviainhibitionofoxidativestressandastrocytes.

简介:AIM:Toestablishtheratmodelofstreptozotocin(STZ)induceddiabeticretinopathy(DR),whichisthemostcommoncauseofvisuallossandblindnessinpatientswithdiabetes,andobservethegeneexpressionofvascularendothelialgrowthfactor(VEGF)anditsreceptorsduringthedevelopmentofDR.METHODS:AratmodelofdiabeteswasestablishedbyintraperitonealinjectionofSTZ.Thediabeticratswerehousedfor2,3and4monthsafterthedevelopmentofdiabetes.Retinalhistopathologicalobservationwasperformed.TheretinalvesselswereobservedbyimmunofluorescencestainingbyCD31.ThemRNAexpressionofVEGF,VEGFreceptor1and2(VEGFR1/2)inratretinawasdetectedbyreversetranscriptionpolymerasechainreaction(RT-PCR)analysis.RESULTS:Retinalhistopathologicalobservationshowedthemorphologicalchangesofinnernuclearlayer(INL)andouternuclearlayer(ONL)atanytime-point,andalsodemonstratedtheincreasednewvesselsatboth3,4monthsafterthedevelopmentofdiabetes.TheCD31stainingresultsshowedthatthenumberofvesselswasincreasedintheretinasofdiabeticratsatboth3and4monthsafterthedevelopmentofdiabetes.Ascomparedtothenormalrats,themRNAexpressionofVEGFwasincreasedinretinasofdiabeticratsat3monthsafterthedevelopmentofdiabetes,whileVEGFR1andVEGFR2mRNAexpressionwasincreasedat2,3and4monthsafterthedevelopmentofdiabetes.CONCLUSION:Takentogether,ourresultsdemonstratedthatDRwasoccurredat3monthsafterthedevelopmentofdiabetes,andthemRNAexpressionofVEGF,VEGFR1andVEGFR2wereincreasedintheprocessofDR.ThepresentstudyfurtherevidencedtheinvolvementofVEGFanditsreceptorsintheprocessofDR.
简介:Thegrowthandcollapsebehaviorsofasinglecavitationbubblenearaheatedwallanditseffectontheheattransferarenumericallyinvestigated.Thepresentstudyisdesignedtorevealthemechanismofcavitationenhancedheattransferfromamicroscopicperspective.Inthesimulation,thetime-dependentNavier-Stokesequationsaresolvedinanaxisymmetrictwo-dimensionaldomain.Thevolumeoffluid(VOF)methodisemployedtotracktheliquid-gasinterface.Itisassumedthatthegasinsidethebubbleiscompressiblevapor,andthesurroundingliquidisincompressiblewater.Masstransferbetweentwophasesisignored.Thecalculatedbubbleprofileswerecomparedtotheavailableexperimentaldata,andagoodagreementwasobtained.Then,therelationshipamongbubblemotion,flowfieldandsurfaceheattransfercoefficientwasanalyzed.Onthisbasis,theeffectsofsuchfactorsastheinitialdistancebetweenthebubbleandthewall,theinitialvaporpressureandtheinitialbubblenucleussizeontheheattransferenhancementarediscussed.Thepresentstudyishelpfultounderstandtheheattransferphenomenoninpresenceofcavitationbubbleinliquid.

简介:Themetalorganicvaporphaseepitaxy(MOVPE)growthofindiumgalliumnitride(InGaN)hasbeendiscussedindetailtowardsthefabricationofsolarcell.TheInGaNfilmwithIncontentsupto0.4aresuccessfullygrownbycontrollingthefundamentalgrowthparameterssuchastheprecursorgasflowrates,temperatureetc.TheformationofmetallicInoriginatesfromthehighervalue(0.74)oftrimethylindium/(trimethylindium+triethylgallium)(TMI/(TMI+TEG))molarratiowithlow(4100)V/Ⅲweightmolarratiowhilethelowervalue(0.2)ofTMI/(TMI+TEG)causesthephaseseparation.Itisalsonecessarytocontrolthegrowthrateandepitaxialfilmthicknesstosuppressthephaseseparationinthematerial.ThecrystallinequalityofgrownfilmsisstudiedanditisfoundtobemarkedlydeterioratedwithincreasingIncontent.ThelatticeparametersaswellasthethermalexpansioncoefficientmismatchbetweenGaNtemplateandInGaNepi-layerareprimarilyconsideredasthereasonstodeterioratethefilmqualityforhigherIncontent.ByusingIn0.16Ga0.84Nfilms,ann+-phomo-junctionstructureisfabricatedon0.65mmGaNtemplate.Forsuchadevice,theresponsetothelightillumination(AM1.5)isobservedwithanop-ncircuitvoltageof1.4Vandtheshortcircuitcurrentdensityof0.25mA/cm2.Toimprovetheperformanceaswellasincreasesolarphotoncapturing,thedeviceisfurtherfabricatedonthickGaNtemplatewithhigherIncontent.TheIn0.25Ga0.75Nn+-pjunctionsolarcellisfoundbetterperformancewithanop-ncircuitvoltageof1.5Vandtheshortcircuitcurrentdensityof0.5mA/cm2.ThisistheInGaNp-nhomo-junctionsolarcellwiththehighestIncontenteverreportedbyMOVPE.
简介:Tocomparetheeffectsofslow-releasenitrogenfertilizeratsixdifferentlevelsontheflagleafchlorophyllfluorescencecharacteristicsofsuperhybridrice,afieldfertilizationexperimentwasconductedwithsuperhybridriceYLiangyou1asatestmaterial.Thephotosyntheticelectrontransportrate(ETR),effectivequantumyield(EQY),photochemicalquenchingcoefficient(qP),andnon-photochemicalquenchingcoefficient(NPQ)offlagleavesweremeasuredattheinitialheading,fullheading,10dafterfullheadingand20dafterfullheadingstages.ResultsshowedthatthevaluesofETR,EQYandqPincreasedwithricedevelopmentfrominitialheadingto20dafterfullheading,whereastheNPQdecreased.Duringthemeasuredstages,ETR,EQYandqPincreasedinitiallyandthendecreasedasnitrogenapplicationamountincreased,buttheypeakedatdifferentnitrogenfertilizerlevels.ThemaximumETRandEQYvaluesappearedatthetreatmentof135kg/hm2N.Inconclusion,theoptimumnitrogenamountforchlorophyllfluorescencecharacteristicsofsuperhybridricewas135180kg/hm2.
