  • 简介:-Inthispaper,mathematicalmodelsanddynamicanalysesforbothSDOFandMDOFstructuresisolatedwithdampersareestablishedandperformed,andacomprehensivecomputationmethodisprovided.TheshockabsorbingeffectisillustratedthroughanexampleofatwoDOFdamper-isolatedsystemexcitedbysinusoidalwavesandactualgroundaccelerationinputrecordedinearthquakes.Itisshownthatmostoftheresponsesofthestructurewithdampersreducegreatlyneartheresonantzone,butaccelerationisenlargedinthelowerorhigherfrequencyzone;amongvariousparameters,theinfluenceoffrictionalcoefficientnisthemostsignificant,thatofdampingratioofthedampers,isthesecond,andthatofstiffnesscoefficientofthedampersk,istheslightest.

  • 简介:Aninnovativefloatingmooringsystemwithtwoormoreindependentfloatingmooringplatformsinthemiddleandonerigidplatformoneachsideisproposedforimprovingefficiencyandsafetyinshallowwater.Forthisnewsystem,mostofcollisionenergyisabsorbedthroughthedisplacementoffloatingplatforms.Inordertoillustratethevalidityofthesystem,aseriesofmodeltestswereconductedatascaleof1:40.Thecoupledmotioncharacteristicsofthefloatingmooringplatformswerediscussedunderregularandirregularwaves,andtheinfluencesofwavedirectionandothercharacteristicsondynamicresponseofthesystemwereanalyzed.Theresultsshowthatthemooringsystemissafestat0°ofwaveincidentangle,whereasthemostdangerousmooringstateoccursat90°ofwaveincidentangle.Motionresponsesincreasewiththeincreaseofwaveheight,butarenotlinearlyrelatedtochangesinwaveheight.

  • 简介:Afullycoupled6-degree-of-freedomnonlineardynamicmodelispresentedtoanalyzethedynamicresponseofasemi-submersibleplatformwhichisequippedwiththedynamicpositioning(DP)system.Inthecontrolforcedesign,adynamicmodelofreferencelineardriftfrequencyinthehorizontalplaneisintroduced.Thedynamicsurfacecontrol(DSC)isusedtodesignacontrolstrategyfortheDP.Comparedwiththetraditionalback-steppingmethods,thedynamicsurfacecontrolcombinedwithradialbasisfunction(RBF)neuralnetworks(NNs)canavoiddifferentiatingintermediatevariablesrepeatedlyineverydesignstepduetotheintroductionofafirstorderfilter.LowfrequencymotionsobtainedfromtotalmotionsbyalowpassfilterarechosentobetheinputsfortheRBFNNswhichareusedtoapproximatethelowfrequencywaveforce.Consideringthepropellers’wearandtear,theeffectoffilteringfrequenciesforthecontrolforceisdiscussed.Basedonpowerconsumptionsandpositioningrequirements,theNNcentersaredetermined.Moreover,theRBFNNsusedtoapproximatethetotalwaveforcearebuilttomonitorthedisturbances.WiththeDPassistance,theresultsoffullycoupleddynamicresponsesimulationsaregiventoillustratetheeffectivenessoftheproposedcontrolstrategy.

  • 简介:Forevaluationofthepermanentdeformationofaseaembankmentunderstochasticearthquakeexcitation,arobustdynamicriskanalyticalmethodispresentedbasedonconventionalpermanentdeformationanalysisandstochasticseismicresponseanalysis.Thismethodcanpredictnotonlythemeanvalueofmaximumpermanentdeformationbutalsothereliabilitycorrespondingtodifferentdeformationcontrolstandards.TheearthquakemotionismodelledasastationaryGaussianfilteredwhitenoiserandomprocess.Thepredictedaveragemaximumhorizontalpermanentdisplacementisinagreementwiththeconventionalresult.Furtherstudiedarethereliabilityofpermanentdeformationduetostochasticwavedetailsatoneseismicmotionlevelandtheriskofpermanentdeformationduetostochasticseismicstrength,i.e.,themaximumaccelerationinalongperiod.Therefore,itispossibletomaketheoptimaldesignintermsofsafetyandeconomyaccordingtotheimportanceofaseaembankment.Itissuggestedthattheimprovedstochasticseismicmodelthatcancatchthebehaviorofthenon-stationaryrandomprocessforseaembankmentsshouldbefurtherstudiedinfuture.

  • 简介:—Effectivestressanalysisisperformedtoevaluatetheresidualdisplacementofacaissonquaywallduring1994Hokkaido-Toho-OkiEarthquakeand1993Kushiro-OkiEarthquake.Theconstitutivemodelusedinthisstudyisamultipleshearmechanismtypedefinedinstrainspaceandcantakeintoaccounttheeffectofrotationofprincipalstressaxis.Theearthquakeaccelerationsrecordedattheoutcroppingrockduringtheearthquakeareusedasinputbedrockmotion.Theresultsoffiniteele-mentanalysisareingoodagreementwiththeobservedbehaviourofthequaywall.Theanalysisalsoindi-catesthatliquefactionandhighexcessporewaterpressurehaveasignificanteffectonthedeformationofthecaisson.Soilimprovementisspeculatedasthemostreliablemeasuresagainstliquefaction.Theinflu-enceofsoilimprovementandthereasonableimprovedareaarediscussedinthepaper.

  • 简介:Freakwaveisthecommonwavewhichhassignificantwaveheightandirregularwaveshape,anditiseasytodamageoffshorestructureextremely.TheFPSOs(FloatingProductionStorageandOffloading)sufferfromtheenvironmentloads,includingthefreakwave.Thefreakwavesweregeneratedbasedontheimprovedphasemodulationmodel,andthecouplingmodelofFPSO-SPM(SinglePointMooring)wasestablishedbyconsideringinternal-turretFPSOanditsmooringsystem.ThedynamicresponsecharacteristicsofbothFPSOandSPMaffectedbythefreakwavewereanalyzedinthetimedomain.Accordingtotheresults,thefreakwavesgeneratedbyoriginalphasemodulationmodelmainlyaffectthe2nd-orderwaveloads.However,thefreakwaveswhicharegeneratedbyrandomfrequenciesphasemodulationmodelaffectboth1st-orderand2nd-orderwaveloadsonFPSO.Whatismore,comparedwiththeirregularwaves,thedynamicresponsesofmooringsystemarelargerinthefreakwaves,butitsamplitudelagsbehindthepeakofthefreakwave.
