Thelarge-diametercylinderstructure,whichismadeoflargesuccessivebottomlesscylindersplacedonfoundationbedorpartlydrivenintosoil,isarecentlydevelopedretainingstructureinChina.Itcanbeusedinport,coastalandoff-shoreworks.Themethodforstabilityanalysisofthelarge-diametercylinderstructure,especiallyforstabilityanalysisoftheembeddedlarge-diametercylinderstructure,isanimportantissue.Inthispaper,anideaispresentedthatis,em-beddedlarge-diametercylinderquayscanbepidedintotwotypes,i.e.thegravitywalltypeandthecylinderpilewalltype.Amethodforstabilityanalysisofthelarge-diametercylinderquayofthecylinderpilewalltypeisdevelopedandamethodforstabilityanalysisofthelarge-diametercylinderquayofthegravitywalltypeisalsoproposed.Theeffectofsig-nificantparametersonthestabilityofthelarge-dianetercylinderquayofthecylinderpilewalltypeisinvestigatedthroughnumericalcalculation.
