Tosolvetheproblemabouttheinhomogeneousthermaleffectofpotheatedbycoilsalongthecircumference,anovelcoilwindingmethodisproposedandcomparedwiththegeneralwindingmethodinthepaper.First,basedontheBiot-SavartlawandAmpere’srule,themagneticinductiongeneratedbyastraightcurrentcarryingconductorandacurrentloopisdiscussed,respectively.Thenthenovelcoilwindingmethodisdevelopedbyadjustingthelocationofinhomogeneousjoints.Thejointsareperiodicallyscatteredalongthecircumferentialdirectionandsymmetricallydesignedaroundthecentralaxis.Numericalresultsshowthatthequitenon-uniformtemperatureinthebaseofpotatthecirculardirectioniseffectivelyimprovedbyusingtheproposedwindingmethod.Thepotentialdangerproducedbyhightemperatureatsomeregionofcoilsplateisminimized.Itisenergy-efficientandsafeforresidentialappliances.
