摘要
Thedissipativesensingbasedonaself-interferencemicroringresonatorcomposedofamicroringresonatorandaU-shapedfeedbackwaveguideisdemonstratedexperimentally.Insteadofafrequencyshiftinducedbythephaseshiftofthewaveguideorthemicrocavity,thedissipativesensingconvertsthephaseshifttotheeffectiveexternalcouplingrate,whichleadstothechangeoflinewidthoftheopticalresonanceandtheextinctionratiointhetransmissionspectrum.Inourexperiment,thepowerdissipatedfromamicroheateronthefeedbackwaveguideisdetectedbythedissipativesensingmechanism,andthesensitivityofourdevicecanachieve0.22dB/mW.Thisdissipativesensingmechanismprovidesanotherpromisingcandidateformicrocavitysensingapplications.
