摘要 Ovariancancerisoneofthemostlethalmalignantgynecologicaltumors.Morethan70%ofpatientswithovariancancerarediagnosedatadvancedstage.The5-yearsurvivalinpatientswithadvancedovariancancerislessthan30%becauseofthelackofeffectivebiomarkersfordiagnosis,prognosis,andpersonalizedtreatment.MicroRNA(miR)isaclassofsmallnoncodingRNAsthatnegativelyregulategeneexpressionprimarilythroughpost-transcriptionalrepression.ManystudiesontissuemiRinovariancancerhavebeencarriedoutandshowgreatpotentialinclinicalpractice.However,tissuesamplesarenoteasilyavailablebecausesamplingcausesinjury.Researchershavestartedtofocusonplasma/serummiR,assumingthatbloodsamplesmayreplacetissuesamplesinmiRresearchinthefuture.Plasma/serummiRresearchisstillinitsearlystages.Studiesonitsfunctionintheearlydiagnosisofovariancancerhaveachievedsomeprogress,butplasma/serummiRprofilingforprognosisandpersonalizedtreatmentofovariancancerremainsunknown.Athoroughunderstandingofthefunctionofplasma/serummiRinovariancancerwillfacilitateearlydiagnosisandimprovetreatmentforovariancancer.
