摘要
Thechangesofthedevelopingturbulentflowcharacteristicsincurvedductafteraddingabafflearestudiednumericallyatthebody-fittedcoordinates.ak-εmodelisusedtorepresenttheturbulence.acurvedductofrectangularcross-sectioniscomputedfirstly,ithasbeenobservedthatthepredictionsusingtheprocedureagreeverysatisfactorywiththeexperimentaldata.Then,twokindsofsquareductsarestudied,oneisnormalcurvedduct,theotherisaductwithabaffle.Thecomputationalresultsarepresentedandcomparedtoeachother,inordertodisplaythechangesoftheflowafteraddingabaffleincurvedducts.Thesecondaryflowinaductwithabaffleischaracterizedbyfour-vorticesstructurewiththeoutertwobiggerthantheinnertwo.Besides,comparedwiththeductwithoutabaffle,theintensityofthesecondaryflowsisreduced,whichresultsintheflowfieldofthecross-sectionmuchmoreequableandhasmuchmoresignificantmeaningintheengineering.
