简介:AnumberofdrybridgeshavebeenbuilttosubstitutefortheroadbedontheQinghai-TibetRailway,China.Theaimofthisstudywastoinvestigatetheexothermicprocessofcast-in-place(CIP)pilefoundationofadrybridgeanditsharmtothestabilityofnearbyfrozenground.Wepresent3Dheatconductionfunctionsofaconcretepileandoffrozengroundwithrelatedboundaries.Ouranalysisisbasedonthetheoryofheatconductionandtheexponentlawdescribingtheadiabatictemperaturerisecausedbyhydrationheat.ResultsundercontinuousandinitialconditionswerecombinedtoestablishafiniteelementmodelofaCIPpile-frozengroundsystemforadrybridgeunderactualfieldconditionsincoldregions.NumericalresultsindicatedthattheprocesscouldeffectivelysimulatetheexothermicprocessofCIPpilefoundation.ThermaldisturbancetofrozengroundunderalongdrybridgecausedbythecastingtemperatureandhydrationheatofCIPpileswassubstantialandlong-lasting.Thesimulatedthermalanalysisresultsagreedwithfieldmeasurementsandsomesignificantrulesrelatingtotheproblemwerededucedandconclusionsreached.
