  • 简介:Previousconstitutivemodelsofgraniteshearcreephavetwolimitations:(1)althoughmoisturegreatlyaffectsgraniteshearcreepbehavior,currentlytherearenoconstitutivemodelsthatincludethisfactor;(2)therearealsonomodelsthatincludeanaccelerationstage.ThispaperpresentsanimprovedBurgersconstitutivemodelwiththeadditionofadamageparametertocharacterizethemoistureeffectandusesanonlinearrelationequationbetweenstressandstrainforinclusionastheaccelerationstage.Thedamageparameterisdeterminedfromgranitecreepexperimentunderfourdifferentmoisturecontents(0%,0.22%,0.49%,and0.79%).Thenonlinearrelationequationisobtainedbyfittingadatasetofstainversustimeunderfivedifferentloadingstages.Toverifythepresentedmodel,acreepexperimentwasconductedonothergranitesamplesandtheresultsshowthatthemodelagreeswellwiththeexperimentalobservationdata.

  • 简介:Abstract:Effectofmoisture-heatingtreatmentonthequalityofparboiledriceandprocessingoptimizationwerestudied.Resultsindicatedthattheriboflavinecontentofparboiledriceishigher,andthecolorislight,aromaisstrongandtheheadyieldratioishigherbysoakingwithacidandethanol,cookingathigh-pressureandthendryingwithhightemperature-highmoisture.Optimalprocessingparametersaresoakingpaddywithcitrateacidfor2h,thenwith1.5%ethanolfor1.5h,highpressurecookingfor30min,andthendryingunder55%RH,90~Cfor30min,coolingslowlyfor2.5h,andshellingandmillingimmediately.Headyieldratioandwholericeratiowas67.3%and87.0%respectively,thecoloroffinishedproductislight,ricearomaisstrong,andthecontentofriboflavineis2.47mg/100g.

  • 简介:Forthemostcoastalareaswheretheairisveryhumid,studyontheeffectofhumidityontheperformanceofasphalthasitspracticalsignificance.However,limitedresearchhasbeendonetoinvestigatetheeffectofhumidityonrheologicalpropertiesofasphalt.Inthisstudy,asphaltbinderswereagedinthepressureagingvessel(PAV)underdifferentconditionsofmoistureandagingtime.ThenDynamicShearRheometer(DSR)andBendingBeamRheometer(BBR)measurementswereconductedtoobtaintheparametersrelatingtothecomplexmodulus,phaseangle,failuretemperature,andcreepstiffness.Itwasfoundthatthelowtemperatureperformancedecreasedasevidencedbytheresultsofthecreepstiffness.WhiletherewerenosignificantdifferencesamongconditionedbindersbasedoncomplexmodulusG*andphaseangleδ,itwasfoundthattheδvalueincreasedwhenthehumidityincreasedfrom0%to80%,andthentheδvaluedecreasedwhenthehumidityincreasedto100%.Inaddition,theresultsofthefailuretemperatureindicatedthatthehumidityof80%wouldbeacriticalpointforthehightemperatureperformanceoftheasphaltbinders.

  • 简介:Soilcrustingmayhavesignificantimpactsoninfiltration,runoffgenerationanderosioninagriculturallandsorsemi-aridandaridsoils.Thepreviousinvestigationsonsoilcrustingwereoftenconductedundersimulatedrainfallconditions.Thisstudyaimstoevaluatetheeffectsofsoilcrustingonsoilmoistureduringinter-stormperiodsandsoilandwaterlossesduringstormperiodsundernaturalrainfalls.ThestudysitewaslocatedintheLoessPlateauofChina.Fourplotswithauniformslopeandsizewereselected.Soilcrustswerekeptintactonthetwoplotsthroughoutthemonitoringperiodsof1999and2000,butwerebrokenaftereachrainstormeventontheothertwoplots.Soilmoisturewasmeasuredonallplotswithanintervalofoneweekatthreedepthsandtotaleventrunoffandsedimentdischargesweremeasuredineachstorm.Itwasfoundthatnomarkeddifferenceinsoilmoistureandrunoffexistsbetweenthecrustedanduncrustedplots.Thisisbecausetherapiddevelopmentofnewcrustsontheuncrustedplotsduringthestormevents.However,theerosionrateontheuncrustedplotswassignificantlyhigherthanthatonthecrustedplots,whichwasmainlycausedbythedisturbanceofthesurfacesoilsontheuncrustedplots.ThisstudyquestionstheeffectivenessofacommonagriculturalpracticeintheLoessPlateau,hoeinglandsafterrainfall,inreducingrunoffanderosion.

  • 简介:Theeffectsofmoisturecontent(8%,10%and12%),variety(TaromandFajr)andparboilingonmillingqualityofriceasafunctionofmillingrecovery(MR),headriceyield(HRY),degreeofmilling(DOM)andwhitenesswereinvestigated.Theparboiledgrainswaspreparedwiththreesoakingtemperaturesof25oC,50oCand75oCandthreesteamingtimesof10,15and20min.Asaresultofparboiling,theincreasingratesofMRandHRYvalueswere7.8%and14.3%forTaromand9.8%and10.0%forFajr,respectively,andthedecreasingratesforDOMandwhitenesswere6.6%and10.8%forTaromand6.8%and10.5%forFajr,respectively.Moreover,decreasingmoisturecontentto8%maximizedMR(75.8%forTaromand74.3%forFajr)andHRY(65.8%forTaromand57.0%forFajr)whileincreasingthatto12%revealedmaximumvaluesofDOM(6.1%forTaromand6.2%forFajr)andwhiteness(24.8%forTaromand28.2%forFajr).

  • 简介:TheobjectiveofthisstudywastoinvestigateandevaluatetherheologicalandmoisturesusceptibilityoftheWMAmixturescontainingmoistaggregates.Theexperimentaldesignincludedtheutilizationsoftwoaggregatesources,twomoisture,twoanti-strippingadditives,andthreeWMAadditivesandcontrol.Severalpropertiesofthebindersandmixtureswereobtainedincluding:viscosity,dynamicshearrheometer,beambendingrheometerofWMAbinders,indirecttensilestrength(ITS),tensilestrengthratio(TSR),andflowvalues.TheexperimentalresultsindicatethattheWMAadditivescanresultinaslightdecreaseinviscosityandanincreaseinfailuretemperature.Inaddition,themoisturesusceptibilityresultsillustratedthatthemixturescontainingmoistaggregatesgenerallyhavesimilarITSvaluestoothermixturesregardlessofHMAorWMAtypes.Moreover,therewerenosignificantdifferencesinthewetITSvaluesofWMAmixtureamongstfourtypesofmixturesunderidenticalconditions(samemoistureandlimecontents)exceptforthemixturescontainingliquidanti-strippingadditiveandAsphaminadditive.

  • 简介:Effectsofnitrogenfertilizer,soilmostureandtemperatureandtemperatureonmethaneoxidationinpaddysoilwereinvestigatedunderlaboratoryconditions.Additionof0.05gNkg^-1soilasNH4ClstronglyinhibitedmethaneoxidationandadditionofthesamerateofKClalsoinhibitedtheoxidationbutwithmoreslighteffect,suggestingthattheinhibitoryeffectwaspartlycausedbyincreaseinosmoticpotentialinmicroorganismcell,NotonlyNH4^+butalsoNO3^-greatlyaffectedmethaneoxidation.Ureadidnotaffectmethaneoxidationinpaddysoilinthefirsttwodaysofincubation,butstronginhibitoryeffectwasobservedafterwards.Methanewasoxidizedinthetreatedsoilwithanoptimummoistureof280gkg^-1,andair-dryinginhibitedmethaneoxidationentirely.Theoptimumtemperatureofmethaneoxidationwasabout30℃inpaddysoil.whilenomethaneoxidationwasobservedat5℃or50℃。

  • 简介:InordertoexplorethefeasibilityofusingX-raytomeasuremoisturecontentinthedryingprocessandhaveafurtherstudyontheeffectofprecisionofmoisturecontentwhenscanningthroughdifferentgraindirections,X-rayscanningmethodandweightingmethodwereusedtomeasureaveragemoisturecontentofCunninghamialanceolataduringhotairdrying.Theresultsshowthatthemoisturecontentvaluesoftwomethodswereveryclosetooneanother,thedeterminationcoefficientsofbothwerehighlycorrelatedwithavalueover0.99,andtheabsolutedeviationwasbelow2%;whenscanningalongradialdirectionandlongitudinaldirection,theprecisionsofaveragemoisturecontentwerehigherthanthatofthetangentialdirection,butthedeviationcanbenegligibleintheactualmeasurement;inthepracticalapplication,theeffectofgraindirectiononprecisionofmoisturecontentmeasurementcouldnotbetakenintoaccountwhenusingX-raytomeasurethemoisturedistributionofwood.

  • 简介:ByemployingtheimprovedT42L9spectralmodelintroducedbyNMC(Beijing)fromECMWFandutilizingtheFGGE-IIIbdatacoveringtheperiodof14—19June1979,theatmosphericresponsestotheabnormalsoilmoistureduringthemedium-rangeperiodhavebeenstudiednumerically.Accordingtotheinitialfieldat12GMT14June,afive-daynumericalexperimentunderdifferentconditionsofthesoilmoisturehasbeencarriedoutrespectively.ThemonthlymeanclimatologicalsoilmoistureforJunehasbeenusedinthecontrolexperimentintheinitialtimeanditchangeswithtimeaccordingtothemoisturebudgetequationatthelandsurface.Comparingwiththeexperimentswithdryorwetsoil.onecanconcludethat:1)Sourceofprecipitationovercontinentsinsummerconsistsoftheland-surfaceevaporationandthemoisturetransferfromoceans.Theirintensitiesarecomparableduringthemedium-rangetimescalewhenthesoilevaporatesitsmoisturesufficiently.Therefore,thesoilmoisturecaninfluencetheglobalprecipitationandthegeneralcirculationsignificantly;2)Byinfluencingthethermodynamicdifferencebetweenlandandsea,thesoilmoisturecanchangetheintensityofmonsoonandprecipitationdistribution;3)Theresponseoftheatmospheretotheabnormalsoilmoisturehasthecharacteristicsofgeographicaldistributionandnonlinearinteractions;4)Humanactivi-tiesontheworldcaninfluencetheenvironmentgreatly.

  • 简介:Thisstudyhighlightsthejointeffectofearlypolymerizationshrinkageandlongtermmoisturediffusiononthebehavioroftherestoration-toothstructure.Theinterphasedebondingbetweenparticleandpolymerresinindentalcompositeistakenintoaccountbyintroducingthedamagevariable.Theidealizedmodelisdesignedandconstructedforrepresentingtherestorationtoothstructure,whichconsistsofenamel,dentin,compositeandinterphase,eachconsideredashomogenousmaterial.Thesimulationiscarriedoutusingthegeneral-purposefiniteelementsoftwarepackage,ABAQUSincorporatedwithausersubroutinefordefinitionofdamagedmaterialbehavior.TheinfluenceofYoung'smoduliofcompositeandinterphaseonstressanddisplacementisdiscussed.Thecompensatingeffectofwatersorptiononthepolymerizationshrinkageisexaminedwithandwithoutinvolvingdamageevolution.Acomparisonismadebetweentheinfluenceofhyper-,equi-andhypo-watersorption.Interfacialfailureinthespecificregionsaswellascuspalmovementhasbeenpredicated.Thedamageevolvingindentalcompositereducestherigidityofcomposite,thusinturnreducingconsequentstressandincreasingconsequentdisplacement.Thedevelopmentofstressesattherestoration-toothinterfacecanhaveadetrimentaleffectonthelongevityofarestoration.
