简介:Themillrollerbeatingismadeupofaninternalring,middlerollsandanexternalring,theanalysisofwhiehisamulti-bodiescontactproblem.Inthispaper,basedonthethree-dimensionalelasticcontactBEMwithoutfriction,andusingthestructuralcharacteristicsofrollerbearings,middlerollsarede-scribedbyelasticplateunitsofdifferentshapes,whichisplacedontheinternalring.Thediscontinuoustractionproblemofthecontactelementcanbedealtwithbythetractionsub-elementmethod.Thereforethecontactproblemcanbechangedfroinoneofmulti-bodiestooneoftwo-bodies.Asanelasticdeformationoftheplateelement,itcanbecalculatedbyanelasticcontactformulaandisregardedananequivalentgaptobeputintothetotalmatrixequality.Theface-to-facecontactconditionofdisplacementandtractionontheelementwillnerveastheconvergencejudgingcondition.Soconvergencesolutioncanbeobtainedbeforeanygeometryinconsistentonthecontactelementmaytakeplace.Therefore,thethree-dimensionaldistributionofloadofthemillrollerbearingcanbeachieved,Ithasbeenprovedthatthecalculatingmodelofthismethodisvisualizedandsimple,haslastconvergencesolutionandhigheraccuracy,makingitaneffectivenumericalmethodofdesigningandanalyzingloadcharacteristicsofthemillrollerbearing.
简介:Inthispaper,weinvestigatethecouplingofnaturalboundaryelementandfiniteelementmethodsofexteriorinitialboundaryvalueproblemsforhyperbolicequations.Thegoverningequationisfirstdiscretizedintime,leadingtoatime-stepscheme,whereanexteriorellipticproblemhastobesolvedineachtimestep.Second,acircularartificialboundaryFRconsistingofacircleofradiusRisintroduced,theoriginalprobleminanunboundeddomainistransformedintothenonlocalboundaryvalueprobleminaboundedsubdomain.AndthenaturalintegralequationandthePoissonintegralformulaareobtainedintheinfinitedomainΩ2outsidecircleofradiusR.Thecoupledvariationalformulationisgiven.Onlythefunctionitself,notitsnormalderivativeatartificialboundaryΓR,appearsinthevariationalequation,sothattheunknownnumbersarereducedandtheboundaryelementstiffnessmatrixhasafewdifferentelements.Suchacoupledmethodissuperiortotheonebasedondirectboundaryelementmethod.Thispaperdiscussesfiniteelementdiscretizationforvariationalproblemanditscorrespondingnumericaltechnique,andtheconvergenceforthenumericalsolutions.Finally,thenumericalexampleispresentedtoillustratefeasibilityandefficiencyofthismethod.

简介:TheFiniteAnalyticMethod(FAM)isanewnumericalmethodforsolvingNavier-Stokesequations.However,oncomplexgeometricdomainsthismethodmustemploytheboundary-fittedcoordinatetransformation,whichbecomesverydifficultforsomeflowregions.Inthispaper,theIsoparametricElement,whichhasbeenwidelyusedintheFiniteElementMethod,isincorporatedintotheFAM.Theflowregionissubdividedintoanumberofsmallar-bitaryquadrilaterals,andeachelementistransformedintoasquareelementbytheshapefunc-tionsofIsoparametricElement.ThenthepartialdifferentialequationsonthesquareelementcanbesolvedbytheFAM.Asanexample,theflowintubebundleshasbeencalculatedbythismethod.
