摘要
Afiniteelement/boundaryelement—modifiedmodaldecompositionmethod(FBMMD)ispresentedforpredictingthevibrationandsoundradiationfromsubmergedshellofrevolution.Im-provementhasbeenmadetoacceleratetheconvergencetoFBMDmethodbymeansofintroducingtheresidualmodeswhichtakeintoaccountthequasi-statecontributionofallneglectedmodes.Asanexample,thevibrationandsoundradiationofasubmergedsphericalshellexcitedbyaxisymmetricforcearestudiedincasesofka=1,2,3and4.FromthecalculatedresultsweseethattheFBMMDmethodshowsasignificantimprovementtotheaccuracyofsurfacesoundpressure,normaldisplace-mentanddirectivitypatternsofradiatingsound,especiallytothedirectivitypatterns.
