  • 简介:ThecopolymerswereformedbythegraftcopolymerizationofPVCwithacrylicrareearth.TheprincipleandmethodofthegraftcopolymerizationofPVCandacrylicrareearthwerediscussed.ThegraftcopolymerswerecharacterizedbyFT-IRspectraandscanningelectronmicroscope(SEM).Thethermalstabilityofthegraft-copolymerswasstudiedbythermogravimetricanalysis(TG).Theexperimentresultsshowthatthethermalresistanceandtoughnessofthegraftcopolymersareobviouslyenhanced.

  • 简介:ExperimentsfordeterminingceriumisotopeionexchangerateswithmacroporousresinsAmberlyst15,D001andXN1010arediscribed.ThekineticsoftheisotopeionexchangereactionhasbeenexaminedbyasimpletheoreticalequationofintraparticleeffectivediffustivityDeinaporousionexchanger.Theionexchangeproceedesbydiffusionwithinthemacroporesandthesolidphaseoftheresin,DeofceriumwasaffectedbytheconcentrationofthebulksolutionCandwasseparatedintoamacroporediffusivityD^-pandasolidphasediffusivityD^-gbytheequation.Thediffusioncoefficientsoftheexchangingionareshowntohavethevaluesinthemacroporescomparablewiththoseinthebulksolutionandtohavethevaluesinthesolidphasecomparablewiththoseingelresinwiththesamecrosslinkageastheresinsusedfortheexperiments.

  • 简介:Theneedformoreactiveandhydrothermallystablefluidcatalyticcracking(FCC)catalyststocombattheeffectofmetalcontaminantshasledtoanincreaseindemandforrareearthoxides.RareearthoxidesenhancecatalystactivityandpreventthelossofacidsitesduringtheFCCunitoperation,especiallywhenheavyresiduewithhighmetalcontentisusedasfeed.Inthispaper,areviewwascarriedouttoshowtheeffectsofrareearthelementsonthestructure,activity,andstabilityofFCCcatalysts.Also,theuseofrareearthelementsasvanadiumtrapswasanalyzedinconjunctionwiththemechanismofcatalystdeactivationbyvanadium.TheobjectivewastoelucidatetheinteractionofvanadiumspecieswiththezeolitecomponentoftheFCCcatalystsandtheroleofrareearthelementsincounteringthedeleteriouseffectsofvanadiumontheFCCcatalysts.

  • 简介:Rareearthcompoundsasmodifiersusedwidelyinmodernfrictionmaterialscanenhancetheinterfacialbindingofconstituentsofmaterialsandimprovethecomprehensivepropertiesofmaterialsevidently.However,therearestillfewreportsonapplicationofrareearthinautomotivefrictionmaterials.Inordertostudytheeffectmechanismofrareearthsinfrictionmaterials,arareearthcompoundwasselectedasadditiveandtheeffectsofmaterialsdopedwithorwithoutrareearthonfrictionandwearpropertiesofmaterialswerestudied.Themicrostructureandwornsurfacemorphologywereobservedbyscanningelectronmicroscopyandthemacroperformancewasdiscussed.Wornsurfaceelementconstitutionofmaterialswasanalyzedbyenergydispersivespectroscopy.Effectmechanismofrareearthsonfrictionandwearbehaviorsoffrictionmaterialswerediscussed.Theresultsshowthatdopingrareearthsinfrictionmaterialscanstabilizefrictioncoefficient,lowerthewearrateofmaterialsandincreasetheimpactstrengthofmaterials.Theflexibilityandfractureresistanceofmaterialsisgreatlyimproved.Wornsurfaceofmaterialsdopedwithrareearthiscompactandthesurfaceadhesionisgreatlyenhanced.
