简介:Asoneofthemostimportanturbanlifelinesystems,awaterdistributionsystemcanbedamagedunderastrongearthquake,andthedamagecannoteasilybelocated,especiallyimmediatelyaftertheevent.Thisoftencausestremendousdifficultiestopost-earthquakeemergencyresponseandrecoveryactivities.Thispaperproposesamethodologytolocateseismicdamagetoawaterdistributionsystembymonitoringwatcrheadonlineatsomenodesinthewaterdistributionsystem.Anartificialneuralnetwork-basedinverseanalysismethodisdevelopedtoestimatethewaterheadvariationsatallnodesthatarenotmonitoredbasedonthewaterheadvariationsatthenodesthataremonitored.Themethodologyprovidesaquick,effective,andpracticalwaytolocateseismicdamagetoawaterdistributionsystem.

简介:Inthispaper,thelongtimeseriesdataofthewellwater-leveldataof12wellsintheSichuanandYunnanareaisanalyzedbytheBaytap-Gtidalanalysissoftware,andwellwaterleveltidalresponsecharacteristicparameters(amplituderatioandphasechange)areextracted.Weanalyzedthefeaturesoftheshapeandstagechange,andcharacteristicparametersofthetidalresponseofwellwaterlevelbeforeandaftertheearthquakes,whichcanprovideanewmethodandapproachtoanalyzingtheresponserelationshipsbetweenwellwaterlevelandearthtideandbarometricpressure.TheresultsshowthatLuguhuWelland9otherwellsareaffectedbyearthtides,andtheirwellwaterlevelamplituderatiosandphasesarerelativelystable;theNanxiWellandDayaoWellwaterlevelchangesareaffectedbythebarometricpressurecombinedwithtideforce,andtheirwellwaterlevelamplituderatiosandphasesaremorediscrete.ThewaterlevelamplituderatiosandphasesofJiangyouWell,LuguhuWellandDongchuanWellaresignificanttolargeearthquakes,andtherelationshipbetweenseismicenergydensityandwaterlevelamplituderatiosandphasesofM_2waveofthethreewellsarepresented.
简介:Inthisstudy,weanalyzetheco-seismicresponseofwaterlevelsintheJiajiwelltostrongearthquakes(MS≥7.8)from2001to2010atanepicentraldistancelessthan8000km.Weinvestigatedtheco-seismicvariationformofwaterlevels,andanalyzedtherelationshipbetweentheamplitudeofwaterlevelvariationandthemagnitudeandtheepicentraldistance.Wethencheckedtheseismicwavephaseswhenthechangesofwaterleveloccurred.Itwasshownthat:(1)thewaterlevel'sco-seismicresponseismainlycharacterizedbyescalationwithnooscillation;(2)theamplitudeofwaterlevelchangehasacertainconnectionwithepicentraldistanceandmagnitude;(3)co-seismicresponseofwaterlevelsintheJiajiwellshowsacertaindirectivity;(4)mostoftheco-seismicresponseswerecausedbysurfacewaves,andsomebylong-periodSwaves.

简介:Heatflowisinevitablyaccompaniedbytemperaturechange,thus,thewatertemperaturecoseismicresponseduringearthquakeactivityshouldalsoobeythelawsofthermodynamics.TakingtheMS8.0Wenchuan,Sichuan,ChinaearthquakeandtheM9.0Tohoku,Japanearthquakeasanexample,andbasedonthedataofwatertemperaturecoseismicresponsesobservedinwellZK26inHaikou,HainanProvince,China,weinvestigatetherelationshipbetweenwellwatertemperaturechangeandheattransferinthecoseismicresponseprocessandtherelevantthermodynamicmechanismbyusingthenumericalsimulationmethodforthermodynamicequations.Then,throughforwardmodeling,weobtainseveralsimulationcurvesofwatertemperaturechangeinresponsetoearthquakesalongthewelldepthatdifferenttimes.Thesimulatedcurvesofwatertemperaturechangeapproximatelyfittheobservedcurves.Consequently,basedonthevariationoftemperature,wefindthatthemodesofwellwatertemperaturecoseismicresponse(ascending,descendingorstable)arerelatedtofactorssuchasthelocationofsensors,distributionandlocationofheatsources,thespanbetweensensorsandheatsources.
简介:WestudythefeatureofmediachangesbeneaththeZipingpureservoiranddiscusstheprocessofpermeationwiththewaterlevelriseandfallofthereservoirfromJanuary2005toJanuary2008fromambientnoisecrosscorrelationbyusingcontinuousseismicdatarecordedbythestationsofZipingpuseismicnetworkandYZPstation.Amoving-windowcross-spectrumtechniquehasbeenusedtocalculatetherelativeseismicvelocitychangesbetweenstationpairs.Resultsrevealedanobviousrelationshipbetweenrelativeseismicvelocity,andthewaterlevelchangeswithatimedelaythatmaybecausedbypermeationduringthreemainimpoundmentsandtwolargescaledisemboguements.Impoundmentgeneratesafastandlargeimpactonthesuperficiallayer,andthechangesofseismicvelocityistheresultofincreasedpressureandpermeationduringtheimpoundment.Atthefirstimpoundment,themaineffectfactorispressure.Duringthenexttwoprocessofimpoundment,permeationbecomesthemaineffectfactor,affectingthefaultatadepthofabout8km.
简介:Thenon-tidalvariationgainedfromcontinuousgravityobservationsinstationsusuallyreflectstheregionalcontinuousgravitychanges.Inthispaperwefocusonstudyingthenon-tidalvariationofBaijiatuanstation,Beijingwheretherearetwodifferentgravimeters(namely,L&R-804andPET-031).Basedontheoriginalrawtidalrecordsoftwogravimetersfrom2008to2011,wefirstremovevariousinterferencefromrawdatabythestandardproceduresoftware-Tsoft;thenwemodelthesolidearthtides,oceantidalloadingandpoletidethroughrelatedparameters;afterthatweadoptanewsegmentedpolynomialfittingmethodbasedonTsofttofitthecomplexdriftofspringgravimeter;andfinallywecalculatetheatmosphericloadingeffectsbyalinearregressionmodel.Afteraseriesofprocessingwegainthenon-tidalvariationofthetwogravimetersatBaijiatuansite,Beijing.Furthermore,toanalyzethenon-tidalvariationpreliminarily,westudythemaincomponentofrelatedtidaldatabypowerspectraldensity.Comparingthenon-tidalvariationoftwodifferentgravimeters,wefindseasonalfluctuationsinnon-tidalresults,whichareinaccordancewiththewaterstoragechange.Therefore,wetakeintoaccounttherelevanceofgravitychangesandwaterstoragebasedonthegravitydataofGRACEandwaterdataoftheCMAPmodelfrom2003to2011atdifferentsitesintheChinesemainland(Beijing,Chengdu,ShenyangandShiquanhe),andmakeapreliminaryanalysisontherelationshipbetweengravitychangesandwaterstorage.
