  • 简介:Owingtoacertainangleexistingbetweenabeltconveyorandtheparallelhoppers,andthehopperslocalizingawayfromthecenterlinesofablastfurnace,particlessizesegregationislikelytohappeninabell-lesstopblastfurnacewithparallelhoppers.Masteringthelawofparticlessizesegregationinhopperscouldhelptochoosebetterchargingparametersandoptimizeproductionandtechnicalindices.Asforthepreviousworksonburdensegregationatabell-lesstopblastfurnacewithparallelhoppers,moreattentionwaspaidtothefallingpointsegregationandthecircumferentialmassflowsegregationwhilechargingfromthetiltingchute,butignoringtheparticlesizesegregationinburdenhoppersasburdenfallsfromabeltconveyor,whichistherightbasisofanalyzingtheformer,andplaysasignificantroleincontrollingthegasdistributionintheblastfurnace.Thepresentworktakesternarymixturesofcokeinthreedifferentparticlesizestosimulatethesizesegregationofthecokechargedintothehoppersbyexperiments.Theeffectofthemainstrikingpointonsizesegregationisalsoinvestigated.TheresearchshowsthatthereexistsagoodlinearrelationbetweensegregationcoefficientkandthedimensionlessmainstrikingpointwhenusingtheequationC=C0ktoexpressthedegreeofsizesegregationinhoppers.Thelinearrelationisproposedforthefirsttimeandprovidesanewwaytopredictthesizesegregationinhoppers,whichformsatheoreticalbasisandtechnicalsupportforreducingthesizesegregationdegreeinhoppers.

  • 简介:Thenanosizedparticlematerialsofdoped-TiO2withY2O3werepreparedbymeansofsol-geltechniqueforuseinelectrorheological(ER)fluids,andtheircrystalstructuresweremeasuredbyX-raydiffraction(XRD)analysis.TocomparewiththepureTiO2,adistinctenhancementintheshearstressunderdcelectricfieldwasfoundbyusingsuchmaterials.Thiscanbeexplainedbytheincreaseofthedielectriclossanddielectricconstantatlowfrequency.TheeffectsofthecrystalstructureoftheparticlesonthedielectricpropertyandERperformanceofmaterialswereinvestigated.
