  • 简介:Coldringrollingisanadvancedbutcomplexmetalformingprocessundercoupledeffectswithmulti-factors,suchasgeometrysizesofrollsandringblank,material,formingprocessparametersandfriction,etc.Amongthesefactors,frictionbetweenrollsandringblankplaysanimportantroleinkeepingthestableformingofcoldringrolling.Ananalyticalmethodwasfirstlypresentedforproximatelydeterminingthecriticalfrictioncoefficientofstableformingandthenamethodwasproposedtodeterminethecriticalfrictioncoefficientbycombininganalyticalmethodwithnumericalsimulation.Andtheinfluenceoffrictioncoefficientonthequalityofend-planeandsidespreadofring,rollingforce,rollingmomentandmetalflowcharacteristicinthecoldringrollingprocesshavebeenexploredusingthethreedimensional(3D)numericalsimulationbasedontheelastic-plasticdynamicfiniteelementmethod(FEM)undertheABAQUSsoftwareenvironment,andtheresultsshowthatincreasingthefrictiononthecontactsurfacesbetweenrollsandringblankisusefulnotonlyforimprovingthestabilityofcoldringrollingbutalsoforimprovingthegeometryanddimensionprecisionofdeformedring.

  • 简介:AuthorshavestudiedthetransformationprocessesofcoldairoverlandinEastAsiaforeightcaseswhichoccurredindifferentmonthsof1981.First,thesurfaceeddysensibleandlatentheatfluxes,anddragcoefficientwereestimatedaccordingtotheapproachofsimilaritytheory.Then,theapparentheatsource,theapparentmoisturesink,andsolarandlong-waveradiativeheating(orcooling)werefurthercalculatedthroughthebudgetmethodandphysicalparameterizationalgorithm.Ithasbeenfoundthatthecoldairimmediatelystartsthetransformationprocessoverlandonceitmovesawayfromitsregionoforigin.Inwinter,thedegreeoftransformationofcoldairmassgraduallyintensi-fiedasittravelledsoutheastward;whilearrivingintheocean,thecoldairmassunderwentthemostsignificanttransfor-mationprocess.Insummer,themostvigoroustransformationofthermalandmoisturefieldswasobservedinNorthChinaandMongolianregion,withmuchgreaterintensitythanthatinwinter.
