简介：在总结JPEG2000标准定义的两种感兴趣区域（ROI）编码思想优缺点的基础上，提出一种新的ROI编码方法，即部分背景系数位平面位移算（PartialBackgroundCoefficientBitplanesShift，PBCBShift）。将背景系数的整个位平面分成两个部分：最重要位平面和剩余位平面。在编码器端，仅仅是背景系数的剩余位平面朝最不重要位平面方向下移。在解码器端，较高的位平面能比剩余位平面更快地解码。
