简介：TheISMbandat2.4GHzhasmostlybeenusedorplannedforindoorsystems.Thisbandisalsoattractiveforoutdoorsystemsowingtotheeaseofthesystemdeployment,asnofrequencylicensesarerequired.Inthispaper,amultiplesuccessiveinternalmultireflectionmodelisusedtoestimatethecomplexelectricpermittivityat2.4GHzband.Toobtainthedata,measurementsareperformedat160MHzbandwidthcenteredabout2.4GHzusingavectornetworkanalyzer,whichprovidesinformationabouttheamplitudeandphaseoftransmissioncoefficient.Severalsamplesofeachmaterialaremeasuredandtheresultsvaryfromsampletosample.Ithasalsobeenfoundthatsomeobstacleshavepolarizationbehaviour.
