Ubiquitousradarisanewradarsystemthatprovidescontinuousanduninterruptedmultifunctioncapabilitywithinacoveragevolume.Continuouscoveragefromclose-in'pop-up'targetsincluttertolong-rangetargetsimpactsselectionofwaveformparameters.Thecoherentprocessinginterval(CPI)mustbelongenoughtoachieveacertainsignal-to-noiseratio(SNR)thatensurestheefficiencyofdetection.TheconditionofdetectioninthecaseoflowSNRisanalyzed,andthreedifferentcasesthatwouldoccurduringintegrationarediscussedandamethodtodeterminetheCPIispresented.ThesimulationresultsshowthattargetsdetectionwithSNRaslowas-26dBintheexperimentalsystemcanpossiblydeterminetheCPI.
