Fe-Ni-Almixturesashot-pressingsinteringadditivetoTitaniumdiboride(TiB2)werestudied.ItisfoundthatliquidalloyformedunderhightemperaturehardlyhaseffectsonthedensificationbehaviorsofTiB2-independent.Fe-Ni-AladditivejustworksasfillerbetweenTiB2particlesanddoesnotchangetheTiB2-independentsinteringbehaviors.PressingmodehasagreateffectontheliquidflowingbetweenTiB2particles.Multiple-stepspressingmodewillgivemoretimeandspacefortheliquidflowingandimprovetherelativedensityofTiB2-Fe-Ni-Alcermet.
