Thegenerationofhigh-resolutionDEMfrominterferometricSARhasresultedintheneedforaccurateandefficientmethodsof2-dimensionalphaseunwrapping.Inthispaper,wegiveabriefdescriptionofthemathematicalbaseofphaseunwrapping,andadetaileddescriptionoftheunweightedandweightedleastsquarephaseunwrappingalgorithm.Thenouralgorithmcombiningwiththeweightedleastsquarephaseunwrappingguidedbythebranch-cutsderivedfromGoldstein’salgorithmandcoherencecoefficientmapderivedfromtheINSARdataisprovided.InourexperimentwewritesubroutinesoftheGoldstein’sbranch-cutalgorithm,unweightedandweightedleastsquarephaseunwrappingalgorithmaswellasouralgorithm,andconstructasmallexperimentsystemtoresolvethephaseunwrappingproblem.FinallywetestouralgorithmonsomeINSARdata.Theresultshowsthatourapproachcanobtainunwrappedphasecorrectlyandefficiently.
