摘要：我国中学英语教学因受到传统教学方法的影响，更注重语言知识的传授，从而忽视了学生的英语学习动机。5P教学法旨在提高学生的自主学习能力和语言应用能力。这就要求教师要转变角色，加强师生之间的互动，为英语教学提供了一个活跃、生动的教学环境。本文旨在分析5P教学法在初中英语教学中的应用，并论证其必要性和有效性。

一、引言
所谓教学方法，是解决教学活动问题的重要途径。随着教育的发展，教学方法应该有所改革和创新，这样才能与时俱进。为了提高我国初中英语教学与学习的现状，笔者提出了5P教学方法的应用，为英语教学方法的研究提供一份实证。
二、5p教学法的理论依据
5p教学法以建构主义理论为依托，以小组群体学习为主，组内进行信息的交换、互补。这种学习模式不仅需要教师对模式进行学习，还需要学生的学习形式进行调整，从而达到良好的匹配与衔接。
三、5P教学法中教师和学生的角色
在当前的课程改革中，强调学生的自主学习能力、合作意识和探究精神。这不仅是一个新观念的问题，也是一个新教学方法的问题。
因此，教师在5P教学法中的角色调整如下：
首先，教师是教学方法的改革者。随着社会的快速发展，课堂不再是教师的舞台，而是学生展示自我的自由平台。要成为新时期合格的英语教师要更新教学观念。
其次，教师是课堂教学的设计者。教师要根据学生的性格和兴趣来设计教学任务或活动，帮助学生最大限度地发挥他们的潜能，使学生能自然地将所学知识运用到实践中去。
最后，教师是整个班级的指挥。在5P教学法的指导下，教师应该掌握好时间，帮助学生自由讨论而不是盲目讨论。学生的自由表现应该始终在教师的引导和指导下进行。
四、案例分析

（三）教学设计分析
Presentation环节的设计在阅读课中属于“读前”活动，旨在帮助学生扫清阅读障碍，降低难度。Production环节的功能是真实运用语言，旨在发展学生的语言运用能力。Progress环节是检测、提高与巩固，通过小结和检查等评价方式检测和巩固学生所获得的语言知识和经验。
五、结论
将5P教学法应用于初中英语教学的过程中，教师应注意此方法与中国传统的英语教学方法是不同的。教师尽可能用有趣可接受的方式呈现新知识，让学生有效的获取知识点。此外，教师给出一些必要的提示并做出适当的评论，这对学生是非常重要的。
综上所述，有效运用5P教学法可以全面提高学生的英语技能和语言运用能力。但这也要求英语教师在各方面提高自己，只有这样才能充分利用5P教学方法，把英语课堂变成学生提高英语技能和综合能力的平台。
