Areal-timetwo-dimensional(2D)triangulationrangefinderispresented,whichiscomposedoftwolinearcomplementarymetaloxidationsemiconductor(CMOS)chips,twocameralenses,andfourlightemittingdiodes(LEDs).Thehighorderdistortioninimageaberrationsisthemainfactorresponsibleforthecoarseerrors.Thetheoreticalpredictionisingoodagreementwithexperimentsandthecorrectionequationisusedtoobtainmorereliableresultswiththeuniquedistortioncoefficientinthewholeworkingregion.
