Researchontheflowfieldinsideaturboclassifieriscomplicatedthoughimportant.Accordingtothestochastictrajectorymodelofparticlesingas-solidtwo-phaseflow,andadoptingthePHOENICScode,numericalsimulationiscarriedoutontheflowfield,includingparticletrajectory,intheinnercavityofaturboclassifier,usingbothstraightandbackwardcrookedelbowblades.Computationresultsshowthatwhenthebackwardcrookedelbowbladesareused,themixedstreamthatpassesthroughthetwobladesproducesavortexinthepositivedirectionwhichcounteractstheattachedvortexintheoppositedirectionduetothehigh-speedturborotation,makingtheflowsteadier,thusimprovingboththegradeefficiencyandprecisionoftheturboclassifier.Thisresearchprovidespositivetheoreticalevidencesfordesigningsub-micronparticleclassifierswithhighefficiencyandaccuracy.
