Beam-columnorbeam-wallconnectionsareanimportantprobleminhigh-risebuildings.Inthisstudy,basedontheanalysisofanexamplestructure,ananalyticalmodelfordesignofthesemi-rigidconnectionsbetweensteelbeamsandRCwallsinhigh-risehybridbuildingsisproposed.Also,themechanicalcharacteristicsoftheseconnectionssubjectedtolowreversedcyclicloadingareinvestigatedthroughcomparisonofexperimentalresultsfromthreesemi-rigidconnectionsandtworigidconnections.Moreover,somelatentproblemsfordesignoftheseconnectionsaswellasthecorrespondingsolutionsarediscussed.Theresultsfromtheexperimentsandanalysesindicatethatsemi-rigidconnectionsexhibitsatisfactorycapacityandseismicperformance,andtheproposeddesigncanbeusedinpractice.
