Atemperaturecontrolsystemof31mverticalforcedair-circulationquenchfurnaceisproposed,whichisakindofequipmentcriticalforthermaltreatmentofaluminumalloycomponentsthatarewidelyusedinaerospaceindustry.Fortheeffectiveoperationofthefurnace,itisessentialtoanalyzetheradialtemperaturedistributionofthefurnace.Asetofthermodynamicbalanceequationsmodelingisestablishedfirstly.Byutilizingthenumericalanalysisresulttomodifythetemperaturemeasurements,thecontrolaccuracyandprecisionofthetemperaturearetrulyguaranteed.Furthermore,themultivariabledecouplingself-learningPIDcontrolalgorithmbasedonthecharacteristicsofstrongcouplingbetweenthemulti-zonesinthelarge-scaledfurnaceisimplementedtoensurethetruehomogeneityoftheaxialtemperaturedistribution.Finally,theredundantstructurecomposedofindustrialcontrolcomputersandtouchpanelsleadstogreatimprovementofsystemreliability.
