Theso-called“Yangtze-type”copperdepositsinclude:（1）Cu-bearingmassivepyritebed,(2)Cu-bearingskarnandmagnetite-typeoredeposits,withreplacementCu-vein-typedepositsnearthemetasomaticzone,and(3)mineralizedintrusivebodiesandbrecciapipes,someofwhichareknownasporphyrycopperores(e.g.Chengmenshan).ThistypeoforedepositsisatypicalexampletoverifythepolygenesisofinostofthedepositsinChina,ashasbeenpromotedbyProf.TuGuangchiinviewofthepolycyclicdevelopmentofthegeologicalhistoryinChina.Thispaperiscon-cemedwithonesub-typeofsuchdeposits.
