Thispaperintroducesworkingprincipleandtechnicalfeaturesofvacuumfilterinemulsionsystemfortandemcoldstripmill.Basedonspecificcases,thispaperanalysesandassessestheeffectbeforeandafterusingtheemulsionsystemwiththeusageofthevacuumfilterforstripmill.Comparewiththeeffectwhenusingthefirstgenerationvacuumfilter,theemulsionqualityisimprovedsignificantlybyusingthesecondgenerationvacuumfilter,whichatthesametimeensuressteadyoperationoftherollingmillandsurfacequalityofthemillproducts.Asaresult,investmentandrunningcostsarelowered,emissionsofthewasteemulsionarereduced,wastewatertreatmentcostsarereducedandsoastheenvironmentalpollution.Itcanbeseenthesecondgenerationvacuumfilterhasobviouseconomicandenvironmentalbenefits.Therefor,itsuggeststhatthefiltershouldbeusedwidelyinthefieldofautomotive,environmentalprotectionrollingsteelandnonferrousmetals.
