Compressivesensing(CS)hasemergedasanovelsamplingframeworkwhichenablessparsesignalacquisitionandreconstructionwithfewermeasurementsbelowtheNyquistrate.AnimportantissueforCSistheconstructionofmeasurementmatrixorsensingmatrix.Anewdeterministicsensingmatrix,namedasOOC-B,isproposedbyexploitingopticalorthogonalcodes(OOCs),BernoullimatrixandSingerstructure,whichhastheentriesof0,+1and-1beforenormalization.Wehaveproventhatthedesigneddeterministicmatrixisasymptoticallyoptimal.Inaddition,theproposeddeterministicsensingmatrixisappliedtodirectionofarrival(DOA)estimationofnarrowbandsignalsbyCSarrays(CSA)processingandCSrecovery.TheoreticalanalysisandsimulationresultsshowthattheproposedsensingmatrixhasgoodperformanceforDOAestimation.ItisveryeffectiveforsimplifyinghardwarestructureanddecreasingcomputationalcomplexityinDOAestimationbyCSAprocessing.Besides,lowerrootmeansquareerror(RMSE)andbiasareobtainedinDOAestimationbyCSrecovery.
