Thispaperreportsawind-poweredwaterpumpingsystemimplementedinruralsideofPakistan.ThedesignmethodologypresentedinthispapershallenhancetheefficiencyoftheexistingSavoniusturbine’sperformancebymodifyingitaerodynamically.BladeswithdifferenttwistanglesaredesignedinSolidEdgeandanalyzedusingcomputationalfluiddynamics(CFD)withANSYSFLUENTsoftware.Staticandrotationalanalysesareperformedtogetoptimizedtwistangleandresultsarehighlighted.Theperformancesoftheturbineinbothstaticandrotationalanalysesarecompared.
