Asanoveltypeoffoundationinbeachandshallowsea,thebucketstructureisespeciallysuitableforcomplexconditionssuchassoftclaygroundandtheworsetypesofseaenvironments.Inthispaper,thebearingcapacityofamulti-bucketstructureisstudiedbyexperimentswithasinglebucketandfour-bucketfoundationinasaturatedsandlayer.Basedontheexperimentaldataandnumericalanalysisresults,thebearingcapacitybehaviorandthebucketgroupeffectarecomparedandanalyzed.Furthermore,someinfluentialfactors,suchasthesoiltype,theratiooflengthtodiameterL/D,theratioofthebucketspacingtothebucketdiameterS/D,andthebucketnumberareintroducedandtheireffectsonthemulti-bucketstructuralcapacityareinvestigatedTheverticalstaticcapacityadjustmentfactorisintroducedtoevaluatethebucketgroupeffectsofthemulti-bucketfoundation.
