Manynonlinearquantumopticalphysicsphenomenaneedmoreaccuratewavefunctionsandcorrespondingenergyorquasienergylevelstoaccountfor.AnanalyticexpressionofwavefunctionswithcorrespondingenergylevelsforanatomicelectroninteractingwithaphotonfieldispresentedasanexactsolutiontotheSchrSdinger-likeequationinvolvedwithbothatomicCoulombinteractionandelectron-photoninteraction.Thesolutionisanaturalgeneralizationofthequantum-fieldVolkovstatesforanotherwisefreeelectroninteractingwithaphotonfield.ThesolutionshowsthatanN-levelatominlightformstationarystateswithoutextraenergysplittinginadditiontotheFloquetmechanism.Thetreatmentdevelopedherewithcomputingcodescanbeconvenientlytransferredtoquantumopticsinclassical-fieldversionasresearchtoolstobenefitthewholephysicscommunity.
