Inthispaper,wegivethedistributionoftemperaturefie1dandpulsephotoacousticpressuregener-atedbypulsedlaserinliquid.Theeffectofpulsedurationandlaserbeamdimensiononthepres-suresignalisdiscussed.TheexperimentalresultsobtainedbytheGausslaserbeamdeflectiontech-niqueagreewiththetheoryqualitatively.Thistechniqueprovidesanovelopticalmethodforthecontactlessandrapidmeasurementofthermodynamicparameters.
