NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF LAG INFLUENCE OF ENSO ON EAST-ASIAN MONSOON

摘要 Byprescribingseasurfacetemperatureanomalies(SSTAs)overeasternequatorialPacificinJanuary-March,thelaginfluenceofENSO(ElNinoandLaNina)onmonsoonoverEastAsiahasbeenstudied.Theresultssuggestthat,duetotheexcitationofatmosphericlow-frequencyoscillationbytheSSTA,ENSOhassignificantlaginfluenceonthemonsoonoverEastAsia.DuringthesummerafterElNino,thesubtropicalhighoverwesternPacificisintensifiedandshowsthenorthwardandwestwarddisplacement,meanwhile,therainfalloverEastChinaisbelownormal,especiallyinNorthChina;duringthewinterafterElNino,boththeAsiantroughandthewintermonsoonoverEastAsiaarestrengthened.DuringthesummerafterLaNina,theanomaloussubtropicalhighprevailsoverthelowerreachesofYangtze(Changjiang)River,therainfallbetweenYangtzeandHuaiheRiversisbelownormal;duringthewinterafterLaNina,boththeAsiantroughandthewintermonsoonoverEastAsiaareweaker.ComparedwithLaNina,theeffectofElNinoisstronger,butitisnotalwaysoppositetotheoneofLaNina.
