摘要
Theradiativeforcing(RF)ofAsiandesertdustanditsregionalfeedbackstotheEastAsiansummermonsoon(EASM)systemareinvestigatedwithacoupledregionalclimate-desertdustmodel.Thestatisticalsignificanceofdesertdusteffectsareanalyzedthrough20summerseasons(1990-2009).Inordertoestimatethedusteffectsreasonably,someimprovementhasbeenachievedforthecoupledmodel,includingtheupdatesofopticalpropertiesanddesertsourceareadistribution.WefindthatthedesertdustcanresultinaroughlyweakenedmonsoonineasternChina,KoreanPeninsula,JapanandIndianPeninsulaandastrengthenedmonsooninIndochinaPeninsulainthelowertroposphere.Moreover,theprecipitationcomparisonsbetweenobservationaldataandsimulatedpatternsarealsosuggestiveofthedesertdusteffectontheEASM.Intheuppertroposphere,thesouthwardshiftofthewesterlyjet(WJ)bythedusteffectcanbeseenasanindicatoroftheweakenedmonsooningreatpartofthemonsoonareas.Thechangeofthemoiststaticenergy(MSE)contrastbetweenlandandoceanisthemainreasonfortheEASMvariations.
