A COMPUTATIONAL METHOD FOR THE NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS AT ALL SPEEDS

摘要 APLU-SGSmethodbasedonatime-derivativepreconditioningalgorithmandLUSGSmethodisdevelopedinordertocalculatetheNavier-Stokesequationsatallspeeds.TheequationswerediscretizedusingAUSMPWschemeinconjunctionwiththethird-orderMUSCLschemewithVanLeerlimiter.ThepresentmethodwasappliedtosolvethemultidimensionalcompressibleNavier-Stokesequationsincurvilinearcoordinates.Characteristicboundaryconditionsbasedontheeigensystemofthepreconditionedequationswereemployed.Inordertoexaminetheperformanceofpresentmethod,driven-cavityflowatvariousReynoldsnumbersandviscousflowthroughaconvergent-divergentnozzleatsupersonicwereselectedtotestthismethod.Thecomputedresultswerecomparedwiththeexperimentaldataortheothernumericalresultsavailableinliteratureandgoodagreementsbetweenthemareobtained.Theresultsshowthatthepresentmethodisaccurate,self-adaptiveandstableforawiderangeofflowconditionsfromlowspeedtosupersonicflows.
