摘要 Anewmethodisputforwardforstructuraldamageidentificationbasedonthehomotopycontinuationalgorithm.Anumericalexampleispresentedtoverifythemethod.Thebeamswithdifferentdamagelocationsanddifferentdamageextentsareidentifiedbythismethod.Thenumericalexampleshaveprovedthatthisnewmethodiscapableofeasyconvergence,whichisnotsensitivetotheinitialiterativevalues.Itiseffectiveforaccuratelyidentifyingmultipledamages.Byincorporatingthefiniteelementmethodintothehomotopycontinuationalgorithm,thedamageidentifyingabilityofthenewmethodcanbegreatlyenhanced.
