Characteristics of Geoelectric and Geomagnetic Data before Strong Earthquakes in the North China Region-中国期刊网

摘要 TheearthresistivityandgeomagneticobservationdataoftheZcomponentfrommanystationsinnear-epicentralareasofstrongearthquakesarecombinedandcalculatedbyusingaspatiallinearitymethodandanewcharacteristicvalue,thespatiallinearitya,describingtheprecursoryfieldinnear-epicentralareaofstrongearthquake,isobtained.Theanalysisandcalculationresultsofgeoelectricandgeomagneticobservationdatapriorto8earthquakeswithM≥5.5occurringintheNorthChinaregionshowthatavalueneartheepicentralareatendstodecreasesignificantlyhalfayearbeforestrongearthquakes.
