摘要
Lowcement(LC)andultra-lowcement(ULC)bauxite-SiCcastablesareimportantandhighperformancemonolithicrefiactoriesandtheyhavebeenwidelyusediniron-makingandincineratorlinings.Inthiswork,rheo-logicalbehaviorofLCandULCbauxite-basedSiC-contain-ingcastableshasbeenstudied,includingtheeffectsofSiCcontentandcementcontentonrheologicalpropertiesofthecastables.TheresultsshowthatwithanincreaseofSiCandcementcontent,rheologicalpropertiesofthecastablesdeteriorate.Ontheotherhand,moderateamountsofSiC(4%～8%)andofcalciumaluminatecement(2%～4%)haveveryslightinfluenceonrheologicalproperties,(i.e.whenthecastablesareshearedtheirtorqueandyieldtorqueonlyslightlyincreasewiththeshearingspeed).Therheologicalcharacteristicsofthecastablesfol-lowBinghamfiuidandalwaysshowshearthinningbehav-ior.
