摘要
PreliminaryresultsofthewindvelocityestimationusingtheMaximumEntropyMethod(MEM)toMUradarobservationdatasetsarepresented.ThecomparisonoftheresultsfromtheperiodogrammethodandtheMEMshowsthattheMEMestimationisreliable,andhashigheraccuracy,resolutionanddetectabilitythantheestimationfromperiodogrammethod.ThehighaccuracypowerspectrumobtainedbytheMEMisveryusefultostudyingtheatmosphericturbulencestructure.However.theMEMneedsthelongercomputingtimeforobtainingthehighaccuracyspectrum.Particularly,theestimationofMEMwillbringseriousdevia-tionatlowersignal-to-noiseratio.
