摘要
ThispaperintroducesadomesticallydevelopedCAD/CAMsystem,CAX,whichisabletomeettheneedsofsmallandmediumsizedenterprises.Firstly,themotivationsandprinciplesforthedevelopingofthesystemarepresented.Then,thefunctionsandfeaturesofCAXaredescribed.Inthe3rdsection,thealgorithmsforgeneratingblendingsurfaceswithbothconstantradiusandvariantradiiaredetailed.SixcolorplatesshowingtheapplicationsofCAXareincludedinsection4.Finally,dis-cussedaresomeenhancementsbeingaddedtoCAXinthfuture.
