摘要
TheKarhunen-Loeve(KL)expansionandprobabilisticcollocationmethod(PCM)arecombinedandappliedtoanuncertaintyanalysisofrockfailurebehaviorbyintegratingaselfdevelopednumericalmethod(i.e.,theelastic-plasticcellularautomaton(EPCA)).TheresultsfromthemethoddevelopedarecomparedusingtheMonteCarloSimulation(MCS)method.ItisconcludedthatthemethoddevelopedrequiresfewercollocationsthanMCSmethodtoobtainveryhighaccuracyandgreatlyreducesthecomputationalcost.Basedonthemethod,theelastoplasticandelasto-brittle-plasticanalysesofrocksundermechanicalloadingsareconductedtostudytheuncertaintyinheterogeneousrockfailurebehaviour.
