ELASTO-PLASTICITY ANALYSIS BASED ON COLLOCATION WITH THE MOVING LEAST SQUARE METHOD

摘要 Ameshlessapproachbasedonthemovingleastsquaremethodisdevelopedforelasto-plasticityanalysis,inwhichtheincrementalformulationisused.Inthisapproach,thedisplacementshapefunctionsareconstructedbyusingthemovingleastsquareapproximation,andthediscretegoverningequationsforelasto-plasticmaterialareconstructedwiththedirectcollocationmethod.Theboundaryconditionsarealsoimposedbycollocation.Themethodestablishedisatrulymeshlessone,asitdoesnotneedanymesh,eitherforthepurposeofinterpolationofthesolutionvariables,orforthepurposeofconstructionofthediscreteequations.Itissimplyformulatedandveryefficient,andnopost-processingprocedureisrequiredtocomputethederivativesoftheunknownvariables,sincethesolutionfromthismethodbasedonthemovingleastsquareapproximationisalreadysmoothenough.Numericalexamplesaregiventoverifytheaccuracyofthemeshlessmethodproposedforelasto-rdasticityanalysis.
