Inthispaper,thecauseofbit-errorisanalyzedwhendataaredecidedintheopticalreceiver.AmonolithicD-ffdecisioncircuitisdesigned.Itcanworkeffectivelyat622Mb/s.Moreover,adecisionmethodofparallelprocessingtoimprovethddecisionspeedispresented,throughwhichtheparallelcircuitcanworkupto1Gb/susingthesamemodel.Withthetechnique,higher-speeddatacanbedecidedbyusinglowerspeeddevice.
