摘要 Thispaperanalyzesthepossibilitytodiscriminatebetweenconvectiveprecipitationandstratiformprecipitation.Thisstudyaimstoimprovethemeasurementofrainfallfromteledetectiondataobtainedbothonthegroundandinspace.Forthis,twoparameters,fractaldimensionandfractallacunarity,areconsidered.Tocalculatethefractaldimension,weusetheapproachofbox-countingandshowthatthefractaldimensiondiffersbetweenconvectivescellsandstratiformsones.Andthenthefractallacunarityparameteriscalculatedbyusingtheslidingboxesalgorithm.Thestudyforalltheregionsshowsthatprecipitationcellscanbedescribedbydifferentlacunaritieswhateverthescaleofanalysis.Wededucethatthetwoparameters,fractaldimensionandfractallacunarity,canbeusedtoclassifyprecipitationsinconvectiveregimeandstratiformregime.
