摘要
Car-followingtheoryisanimportantresearchdirectioninthefieldofintelligenttransportationsystems(ITS),itdescribestheone-by-onefollowingprocessofvehiclesonthesamelaneintrafficflow,andoneofitsimportantissuesiscongestioncontrol.Toexplorethestrategyforcontrollingtrafficcongestion,thispaperintroducesandanalyzessomeclassiccar-followingmodels,andgivesasystematicreviewoftheirdevelopments.Moreover,inordertointroducetheapproachtoanalyzethestability,takingthefullvelocitydifference(FVD)modelforexample,thelocalandasymptoticstabilityanalysisisdiscussed,whilethecorrespondingnonlinearanalysisisalsoconducted.Then,someperspectivesofthecar-followingmodelaregiveninthefinal.
