简介:Investigationsareperformedtoexplorehigh-repetition-ratefemtosecondlaserablationeffectsonthephysicalandchemicalpropertiesofpoly(methylmethacrylate)(PMMA).Ascanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM)isusedtocharacterizethemorphologychangeinthelaser-ablatedregions.TheinfraredandRamanspectroscopyrevealsthatthefundamentalstructureofthePMMAisalteredafterlaserablation.Wedemonstratethecumulativeheatingismuchgreaterduringhigh-repetition-ratefemtosecondlaserablation,supportingaphotothermaldepolymerizationmechanismduringtheablationprocess.
简介:Scalefactorofaconstantratebiasedringlasergyro(RLG)isstudiedboththeoreticallyandexperimentally.Byanalyzingexperimentaldata,wefindthattherearethreemaintermscontributingtothescalefactordeviation.Oneofthemisindependentoftime,thesecondvarieslinearlywithtimeandthethirdvariesexponentiallywithtime.Theoreticalanalysesshowthatthefirsttermiscausedbyexperimentalsetup,thesecondandthethirdarecausedbyun-uniformthermalexpensionandcavitylossvariationoftheRLG.
