简介:Theseaembankmentisacriticalcivilworksinmarineandcoastalengineering.Inthisstudy,aninnovativetechniqueisproposedforconstructingerectiveseaembankments.Intheconstructionofseaembankments,thistechniqueintegratesPCCpileinstallation,PVDsdrainagesystems,andgeotextilereinforcements,resultinginseaembankmentswithPCCpiles.IntheapplicationofaseaembankmentwithPCCpiles,PCCpilesareemployedastheretainingstructures;thesoftseagroundinsidePCCpilesisdrainedandimprovedbyPVDsandvacuum-surchargecombinedpreloading;geotextile-reinforcedbackfillslyingovertheimprovedsoftgroundformtheembankmentbody.Briefdescrptionsofthefundamentals,designandconstructionoftheseaembankmentwithPCCpilesarepresented.AcasestudyonthestabilityofseaembankmentwithPCCpilesispresentedaswell.
简介:Forevaluationofthepermanentdeformationofaseaembankmentunderstochasticearthquakeexcitation,arobustdynamicriskanalyticalmethodispresentedbasedonconventionalpermanentdeformationanalysisandstochasticseismicresponseanalysis.Thismethodcanpredictnotonlythemeanvalueofmaximumpermanentdeformationbutalsothereliabilitycorrespondingtodifferentdeformationcontrolstandards.TheearthquakemotionismodelledasastationaryGaussianfilteredwhitenoiserandomprocess.Thepredictedaveragemaximumhorizontalpermanentdisplacementisinagreementwiththeconventionalresult.Furtherstudiedarethereliabilityofpermanentdeformationduetostochasticwavedetailsatoneseismicmotionlevelandtheriskofpermanentdeformationduetostochasticseismicstrength,i.e.,themaximumaccelerationinalongperiod.Therefore,itispossibletomaketheoptimaldesignintermsofsafetyandeconomyaccordingtotheimportanceofaseaembankment.Itissuggestedthattheimprovedstochasticseismicmodelthatcancatchthebehaviorofthenon-stationaryrandomprocessforseaembankmentsshouldbefurtherstudiedinfuture.
简介:Theeffectsofstabilizingpilesonthestabilityofanembankmentslopeareanalyzedbynumericalsimulation.Theshearstrengthreductionmethodisusedfortheanalysis,andthesoil-pileinteractionissimulatedwithzero-thicknesselasto-plasticinterfaceelements.Effectsofpilespacingandpilepositiononthesafetyfactorofslopeandthebehaviorofpilesundertheseconditionsaregiven.Thenumericalanalysisindicatesthatthepositionsofthepilehavesignificantinfluenceonthestabilityoftheslope,andthepileneedstobeinstalledinthemiddleoftheslopeformaximumsafetyfactors.Intheend,thesoilarchingeffectcloselyassociatedwiththespacebetweenstabilizingpilesisanalyzed.Theresultsarehelpfulfordesignandconstructionofstabilizingpiles.
